So, on another forum I frequent (and help moderate), someone posted a link to a site basically doing little capsule reviews of all the shooters on the Genesis and then the SNES, chronologically. This sounds like fun! And also a lot of work!

It kinda makes me wonder how many years it would take to review the PC Engine's fantastic shooter library. Maybe a chip only list, and then jump to CDs. I dunno. What do folks think?

Something a community like the Turbo community could make happen?

That would be an awesome project, on the most awesome console for such a project!

I wonder if I couldn't modify the forum software here to have a new field for "post type"... so users could flag a new thread as a "review" and all such flagged threads would be displayed on the game page... kind of like gamefaqs. I've already been scheming a "user rating" system.... This would fit right in.

now, I just need someone to find a way to make each day 72 hours long and I'll have time to start on this immediately!

Well, I'm also mulling a YouTube version of this idea, which would be a little like Chrontendo/Chronsega/Chronturbo or Generation 16, but for PCE shooters.

I kinda want to, but right now I'm working two jobs. So in addition to WAY too much free time, I'd need a better quality mic and to see if BizHawk or PCEjin will run all the various games correctly.

I have one job, but two twin 3 year olds... but I still like this project. I have an awesome condenser mic but voice like am out of tune jaw harp. Fml... hahaha
