By popular demand, we've rolled back to Old Chat. Lacks a lot of bells and whistles of the new chat, but what good are bells and whistles if they don't work right? I'll be continuing to try fixing the new chat, but for now, it is back to tried & true.

EDIT: Mission accomplished! Big thanks to sirhcman and esteban for being first responders, and epic huge megathanks to galam for single-handedly making "new chat" happen. I hope to have it up and running sometime today!
Attention Duophiles: The server on which Duophile resides cannot keep up with demands of the current chat implementation! In effort to keep the chat online with fewer disruptions as well as to...

Are You a DuoPhile?
What is a DuoPhile? How can I tell if I am one? Am I contagious?
Exposure to TurboGrafx-16 or Turbo Duo console gaming may result
in a number of distinctive behavioral traits which are characteristic of
a DuoPhile, such as:
- Compulsion to collect anything even remotely related to NEC or TTI, even loose copies of Deep Blue or Timeball.
- Obsession with amassing encyclopedic knowledge about video game history, particularly of the 8 and 16-bit eras.
- Difficulty maintaining conversations about topics other than TurboGrafx games and the virtues of the platform.
While there is no cure for this condition, a rewarding and fulfilling life
can still be had. If you have experienced any of the symptoms above, we encourage you to take
advantage of the DuoPhile.com support group and informational resources to learn more about living with your
condition.
- 144 cataloged games...
- ...are tagged 1302 times in...
- ...834 page scans from 37 magazines.
Be advised that DuoPhiles are in fact highly contagious and the associated behaviors are easily
transmissible to other gamers. Please practice responsible gaming.
