Join Van and the Cosmic Hunters on the planet Idea (eee-day-uh) in a quest to defeat the evil emperor, Galam, and save Van's childhood sweetheart, Laura. As cliche as the story may initially sound, the characters in this JRPG will make you overlook some of the game's shortcomings while the humor and plot twists will leave a mark on your black gamer's heart for the rest of your days. There aren't many role playing games on the TurboGrafx (in the USA at least), but this is one that could hold its own on any platform of its generation. Perhaps the greatest shame is that the sequels never came stateside.
