Unlike most shooters on the system, "Dragon Spirit" has you piloting the Blue Dragon on its quest to save the Princess Alicia. Evil Zowel, Demon of Darkness, is ready to sacrifice the princess, but unbeknownst to him, the Blue Dragon is on his way. The Blue Dragon has two methods of attack, his fire breath to shoot oncoming enemies, or fireballs which can be dropped on foes below. A number of power-ups are to be collected on your journey through the 8 different areas. Excellent chiptunes accompany this port of Namco's 1987 shooter.
