Sidearms respawn points

Just started playing Sidearms again. Totally sucked it up and barely made it past the first boss and then ran out of continues. Made it to third level in next try. Hopefully the improvement continues.

One issue I'm having is how you respawn after you die. Seems like it always starts you over right in the middle of enemy fire. Anybody else have a problem with this? Also having problems with the different buttons for shooting forward and backwards. Will just take time to get used to it, I guess.

NECRO RESPONSE: The forward fire vs. forward reverse mechanic is one of the defining aspects of the game. I'm sure you love it now (you've had 5-6 months to get acclimated to it, after all).

I expect a prompt response.

Also, as far a respwan points are concerned: get over it.
